Get ready for an enchanting evening as Maestro Adrian Sylveen, Founding Artistic Director of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra & operea conductor at the Teatro Lirico D'Europa, & his friends perform “A VIENNESE Recital." This benefit concert, held at the historic Church of the Holy Trinity in Middletown, promises to be a night to remember. Maestro, with pianist Michael Korman, violinist Brunilda Myftaraj, Middletown-Native mezzo-soprano Allison Lindsay, and cellist Zack Sears, will perform selections from Johann Strauss including The Emperor Waltz, Tales from the Vienna Woods and The Blue Danube Waltz. Also in Program are selections from Fritz Kreisler, George Bizet, Camille Saint-Saens and Nikolaj Hansen highlighted by arias from Giacomo Puccini: O Mio Babbino Caro from the opera Gianni Schicchi and Habanera from Bizet's Carmen.
