From Russia with Love:
Lithuanian soprano Olga Schardt in a concert of Russian Arias and Songs.

Olga Shardt(Zhorova) was born in 1986 in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Here Olga graduated from J.Kacinko music school and S.Simkaus Conservatoire as a violinist. In 2005-2010, she studied vocal singing under the careful guidance of Liudmila Togusheva-Diachenko, prizewinner of international competitions, at Moscow Gnesin College and graduated with distinction. In October 2010- 2011 she got a scholarship at Birmingham conservatoire, where she completed a Postgraduate Certificate course with Cathy Benson, UK. Whilst studying, she took part in production of Dido and Aeneas. Her operatic roles have also included Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Marzelina in Fidelio, Cunegonde in Candide and Lapak in Cunning Little Vixen. In  may 2011, Olga won the 2nd prize in Mario Lanza opera competition(Birmingham), ‘’Premio Rotary winner’’ and prize winner of concert in Lucern concert hall (X Concorso Lirico Internazionale Terre dei Fieschi,19-20 june 2015 Novi Ligure, Italy) Finalist of TV project ‘’Voice of Baltics’’, January 2016 (Riga, Latvia). Olga undertook masterclasses with Monserrat Caballe in Zaragoza, Prof.Tom Krause in Academie musicale de Villecroze, France,Sashrang summer music Academy  (Germany),Birshtonas Summer Music Academy with prof. Vladimiras Prudnikovas and also studied with maestro Anatoly Goussev in Milan. From 2010 Olga is singing recitals and taking part in concerts solo,with ensembles and  orchestra in Lithuania, Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain,Russia and Izrael.From 2014 Olga is member of Lithuanian Musician Society, Director and teacher  of her own music theatre for children in Klaipeda. In 2016 and 2017 Olga was a Jury of M.Aleksandrovich singing competition for Youth soloist in Izrael.
